I recently got into an accident in the car parking lot. I side swiped my friends car and we decided instead of going through insurance we would pay out of pocket for repairs. Her car has a scratch on her back bumper where paint was removed and we were trying to decided if it would be cheaper to replace the bumper or to get a paint job. The car is a Nissan Altima. I am currently living in Columbus, but she will be moving this week to Harvey Illinois where living expenses are higher so I guess take that into consideration? Please help!

You do not replace the bumper cover unless it is cracked or deformed. A new one will be black and will have to be painted to match the rest of the car, so paint what you already have.
