Clicking noise whenever I open the car door to get in or out. Clicking noise stops as long as I keep the A/C turned on High. I've seen the videos on how to locate the accentuator behind the glove box. My question is, if I just remove the one that's making the clicks without replacing a new one, will my A/C still work?

Hi,

Are you referring to the blend air door actuator, the A/C accumulator, or something different? The blend door actuator is what controls the air temperature entering the vehicle, so that is needed, and the accumulator is part of the low-pressure system which is responsible for both oil and Freon return to the compressor. You need both.

Here is a guide that will help with this.

Let me know if it is something different.
