Hi,

I was driving normally and when I arrived at a red light starting to brake the car went off... and didn't want to start again.

The car will crank but not start.

I had to call a towing, tried to change the crankshaft position sensor, nothing new happened, maybe the camshaft position sensor?

Had no check engine before that.

Spark plugs are new, battery also. The timing belt was changed at 60,000 miles.

I am a bit lost.

Hi,

When you have a crank no start condition, usually, it is either a fuel or ignition-related issue. Here is what I need you to try.

See if the engine starts if you use starting fluid. If it does and then stalls, we know it is a fuel-related issue. If there is no change, then I need you to check for spark to the plugs.

Here is a link that explains how to check:

Try this and let me know the results.

Take care,

Joe
