APP light came on while driving. No symptoms and truck seemed to be driving fine. Took to mechanic who diagnosed and recommended replacing APP sensor. He reset light and it hasn't come back on. He said it was okay to drive while waiting for part to come in. That was a week ago and light hasn't come back on, nor any problems noted. How safe is it for me to continue driving without replacing this part?
