Accelerator pedal is not working?

So, after a friend had done some work on the vehicle where the pedal had to be removed, he now doesn't seem to remember how it was connected and so there it sits.

Hi,

Are you referring to the accelerator pedal or the wiring? As far as the pedal is concerned, I attached the directions below for the removal and replacement of the pedal assembly. Note that it indicates installation is the reverse of removal. Take a look and let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.
