Accelerator cable replacement

Accelerator cable snapped while driving. Need to replace. I bought a Spectre 2431 replacement kit and need instructions specific to this car. Thanks.

Thank you for that, it will be useful. First, though, I need to remove existing broken cable-it broke an inch from the gas pedal. Stuck on side of road w/ no manual or diagram of Lincolns engine and how to access from under hood and interior cab. Thank you.
