Acceleration problems stalling loss of power?

When I start the vehicle it's hard to start holding the pedal down then it starts and idles high then I can drive approximately 3 miles then I have to stop and wait about 15 minutes. then it will go again then in three miles I have to pump pedal to get uphill. It stalls sputters. I have done spark plugs wires, MAP sensor, mass air flow sensor, cleaned the throttle body, and cleaned all electric connections.

Hi,

Based on your description, it sounds like we have a fuel pressure issue. However, I need to know something. After 3 miles, does the engine stall and refuse to start for a period of time?

If that isn't the case, I need you to check the fuel pressure. When you press the pedal to the floor when starting, that shuts down the fuel injectors to eliminate flooding. So, that was my first thought. However, the remaining part of your post leads me to think there isn't enough fuel to flood it. That is why we need to check what is present.

Here is a link that explains how to check fuel pressure. You will need a fuel pressure gauge, but most parts stores will lend one to you.

If you look at the attached pic below, it provides the manufacturer's fuel pressure specifications.
