When I push on the gas the car does not take off but the RPMs go up?

I already changed the filter to the transmission and the fluid and it's still doing the same thing. what could it be?

This sounds like a pressure regulating solenoid is not working. we should run the codes to be sure. this guide will help with the location of the solenoid in the diagrams below:
