when i attempt it it jumps and lurches.i can floor the gas pedal and wont get over 50. also the ABS awd deactivated and brake lights are on. there is a grinding noise in the front end of the car.i know it needs brake pads and am replacing those today hoping to eliminate the grinding.also the gas gauge seems to fluctuate a lot while i am driving.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Just curious. Quick question first. Is the check engine light on? Thanks for using 2CarPros.

Hello again.

Not having any codes makes it a little more difficult to diagnose. Has routine maintenance been performed? It could be a spark plugs, plugged fuel filter, plugged catalytic converter(s),fuel injectors/throttle body problems. Many different things. Best thing to do is find someone or take somewhere that has access to a scanner and can use the live data/freeze frame information to figure out your cars fault(s). Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
