Acceleration / gears

Cars acceleration has no power when floored, holds at 1500 rpm but when eased on it works perfectly but the gears stick sometimes until at least 5500rpm.

Also sometimes car dies and decides to have bo acceleration what so ever.

New throttle od sensors have been put in.

Please help its becoming unsafe to drive.

Have fuel pressure checked as well as the cat converter back pressure

Fuel pressure is okay as my mate has already checked that. I will look into the back pressure.

Also I forgot to mentoon when the car idles the engine light comes on buy once movig it goes away.
