Slow acceleration

My car listed above Fielder Kenya model does not provide power quickly when needed i.e. When overtaking or on a hill. It takes time to pick up. I press pedal all way down but it is slow in pick up. I have done engine over haul but no improvement.

Hello,

It sounds like you have one of two problems; first I would check the catalytic converter to make sure it is not plugged up here is a guide to help you test it:

if okay I would replace the MAF sensor because the hot wire becomes contaminated which does not turn the check engine on but it does tell the computer less air is going in to the engine results in low power
