Hi,

While I press the gas pedal there is no immediate response of acceleration increasing. After keeping press pedal sudden high increase in the cruising speed with rough loud sound and sometimes exploding sound from exhaust manifold or pipe (maybe some blockage).

Hi,

Does the sound seem like it could be a backfire? If so, take a look through this link:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/engine-backfires-while-running

A backfire can be caused by a few different things. For example, a fuel mixture issue, a misfire, along with other things. So, is the check engine light on while the engine is running? Let me know.

Joe

Hi,

Is the noise you hear loud enough to record? If it is, could you record and upload it for me to hear?

Also, I need to know if you have a live data scan tool. You should check for engine vacuum leaks as well.

Here is a link that explains how to locate and repair a leak:

Let me know.
