AC would work intermittently. Turn it on one day, it’s great, blows cold air. Turn it on the next and nothing happens. It started to slow down when it was working, but only sometimes. I’ve replaced the blower motor and A/C fuses, to no avail. Still doesn’t turn on. When I replaced the blower motor and originally turned it on, I think I heard the compressor or condenser turn on (I’m not sure it just sounded like a fan at the front near the radiator), but no air blowing.

Hi,

I need to better understand. Do you mean the blower motor is not working in the vehicle? In other words, you feel no air being moved. Or is it the fan works, and you feel airflow and the AC isn't producing cold air?

If the A/C not producing cold air or works intermittently, take a look at this link:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/comprehensive-guide-troubleshooting-intermittent-automotive-air-conditioner-problems

If it is the blower motor in the vehicle, let me know if you replaced the blower motor resistor.

Let me know as much as you can so I better help diagnose the issue.

Take care,

Joe

I have replaced the blower motor but not the resistor. Air would move and be cold only when it wanted to. It could go days without working and then work great for days on end or work one time in the day and not the next. Since replacing the blower motor yesterday, I have not seen/heard it work at all.

Hi,

I believe there is a relay as well if you have automatic climate control. Do me a favor. Let me know if this has manual or automatic climate control. That way I can get the right wiring schematics to review.

Also, there should be a white wire at the blower motor. It should have battery voltage at all times. Let me know if there is power present.

Let me know.

Joe
