When I start the van in the morning the air conditioner and usually the dash lights work properly but after the van has run long enough to reach full temperature the air conditioner cuts out and wont start again until the van completely cools down (usually the next morning). The temperature gauge reads correctly and I do not get any codes set. The cooling system is working correctly. Sometimes when the air conditioner cuts out the check engine light, ABS, oil and cruise control lights flash and the dash chimes will ring for about thirty seconds. I have checked all the grounds and ECM, BCM and connectors for corrosion. I am thinking that maybe the ECM might be failing when it receives a signal over 180 degrees from the engine coolant sensor but not sure. Any help you can think of would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Gary

Scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge and check for a vacuum leak. auto parts rent gauge. check battery for condition including load test most places do for free.
