Problem is just bought the car and it had a new as compressor on the car. About two weeks goes by and the clutch on the compressor went out. I could not get warranty do I forked out the money $400.00 and replaced the whole system. Two weeks goes by and the clutch on the brand new compressor burns out again. I have changed the whole system four times now and still seem to have the same problem. Please help.

Good afternoon.
Can you give me the pressures on the high and low sides when it was running?
Pressure could cause the failure but needs to be confirmed.

Okay, if the clutch keeps burning out, can you test the distance between the plate and pulley? It should be.017.

I am sorry but I have been doing A/C for 25 years and I have never run into a car that will burn out a clutch in two weeks every time. I have completely changed the system four times and in between I have flushed the entire system and replaced the dryer and the expansion valve and the last time the condenser.
