A/C compressor goes on and low side goes into vacuum. Compressor turns off then slowly goes back to about 30 psi. High side stays around 100 to 120 psi. Expansion valve and compressor already replaced. I'm guessing there is a restrict somewhere.

Good morning,

Yes, there is a restriction on the low side.

Did you use a new expansion valve? If you did, good chance the evaporator may be the restriction.

Yes new expansion valve. A/C barely runs. What's a good way to track down the restriction? Basically it's the condenser/receiver dryer or evaporator?

Okay, you will need to use air pressure to find the restriction. Check both the condenser and the evaporator.

I would not assume the new expansion valve is good either. It could also be the issue.
