Hello and welcome to 2CarPros.
The low side port is the one in the larger line in the system. Should be near the firewall if I remember correctly. The high side port is up front near the hood latch. Why do you think that a low charge is the problem? It's possible but if the system is already charged you could cause a dangerous situation. Do you have a gauge set to test the pressures and allow you to vacuum the system down if it is empty?

What do the high and low pressures read if you just put the gauge set on? Is the compressor clutch cycling at all?

With the clutch cycling I would check the pressures before adding anything. What is the reason for adding? No AC in the car or?

That could be a low charge but it could also be a blend door not sealing fully. I would put the gauge set on and get the running pressures. Then go from there.
