AC light blinking

The AC light on my truck is blinking and I do not hear the compressor kicking on. I do not find anything in my Chilton that suggests what may be the problem. Any ideas?

The blinking is telling you the system has detected a problem which is usually low on refrigerant. This video to help you check the level and add if needed.
