air coming out of defrost mode is set to dash vent?

Coldest air will start coming out of the defrost when mode is set to dash vent. After driving a distance, maybe an hour, when auto air is set to the coldest setting, the air temp coming out of vent is not really cold and you can really hear the blower noise from inside the dash. You can also see a mist coming from the vents.
My guess is a blend door actuator is bad.
My car has dual climate control.
Where are the 2 HVAC actuator solenoids located?

Yep, this happens when the MODE blend door actuator goes bad. You must remove the glove box to access the mode actuator, here is the location, check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response.
