I replaced my AC/heat control cluster in the dash. It would blow out air in the past, but stopped. Now, it only blows out air when you move the position. Such as defrost to vent. It only works for a few seconds, then stops. Do you think the problem is blower motor, relay switch, or something else?

Hi Rob,

The proper way of going about to to test the system starting with power supply to the blower motor. If there are no power supply, then you would need to check at which point power supply is missing.

This could be a fault with the blower motor or its controlling circuit. Have you tested the blower motor? Give the blower motor housing some banging with your fist and test if it works better.

Such problem can also be due to poor connectivity of wires resulting in intermittent contact.

Without proper diagnostics and depending on guesswork does not work.
