Ok so me being a dummy in my foolishness tried to hide something what I thought was behind the glove box where the AC fan filter thing is one day and it seized the fan behind there and now there is absolutely no power to it, it still turns freely when turned by hand but here is the kicker ok so I am not very wealthy and my husband is a very good mechanic and knows stuff so when we bought the car the ac was going out in it, it would work when it wanted to but finally stopped working all together and living in florida it's freaking hot and there's no tint on the windows so he got the idea to take the clutch for the ac compressor and permanently engage it by screwing it completely open so the ac is running no matter if the switch is on or not on the dash. Ok that being said here is the question of the day, now with the clutch engaged I feel a very faint bit of ice cold air barely coming from the vents but no power at all behind it and like I said the fan will not turn when it's crunk only by hand but it does freely spin that way. What do you think it would be that's gone bad the resistor or one of the relays or fuses? And if you can point us in the right direction to fix this issue because I cannot do summer again with no ac in a car with leather seats and no tint with a sunroof I will surely melt or burn to a crisp.....
