Ac doesn’t work?

My ac doesn’t work the defrost are the only vents that work I can’t pay for one right now and I don’t know who can fix it I have a 1998 Nissan Maxima

So does the AC get cold out oft he defrost vents? If so the mode actuator is bad most of the time and needs to be replaced, here is the location of the actuator which is under the dash on the passenger side so you can swap it out. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
