My car's AC doesn't work only displays F and 1. What could be the problem?

Welcome to 2CarPros.

First, I have to tell you this vehicle isn't available in the US, so my technical information is very limited. However, I have to start by asking if the computer was scanned to identify diagnostic trouble codes?

Let me know.

Joe

No, it hasn't been scanned yet though it doesn't show any errors on the dashboard.

Welcome back:

There could still be HVAC codes stored. It sounds related to the HVAC control module, and that should set a code.

Let me know,
Joe

Sounds like a plan. Let me know if you find anything. Also, keep in mind you have to have a scanner that is able to read other than P type (power-train) codes.

Take care,
Joe
