A/C Compressor replacement?

My compressor is getting a little noisy and I'm going to replace it. I bought a Honda compressor which is prefilled with oil. My question is, do I have to remove any existing oil from the system, or does it all settle in the compressor itself? Will evacuating the system with a vacuum pump remove any oil?

Hi Dennis,

Most the system oil settles inside the compressor and in most cases, you can just remove the compressor and install the new one. When you vacuum down the system little to no oil will come out, please watch this video before you begin.
