Checked A/C Freon, It's over pressurized, A/C clutch not turning on. Doesn't blow any cold air at all. Checked all fuses and relays. I am pretty sure i have to replace the compressor. Looking for other options/opinions. Vehicle is a ZX4 Sedan.

Welcome to 2CarPros.

If it has too much pressure, that can prevent it from running. Can you tell me what both the high and low side readings are? Also, let me know the outside temp when you check it.

As far as the pressure, if there is a blockage causing this pressure increase, it will eventually lead to compressor failure, so if you could let me know what you find.

Here is a link that shows how to vacuum and recharge the system. I'm adding this because it shows how AC manifold gauges are used.

Also, here is a link that explains the most common causes for an AC not to work.

Do this and let me know what you find.
