I have been given the part number for the belt to bypass my AC compressor and would like to know if that belt for sure will work.

we have no idea when you do that. you have to try at an auto parts store or if mechanic gave you the number have them do it.

I've had the same problem in the past. What is the part number for the belt? I saved the identification sleeve that mine came in. Will take me a day or so, but can compare them for you.

Hey Steven,

Looks like this original post was a few years ago so I don't think you should expect an answer. However, thanks for viewing 2CarPros for information like this. If you have the part number, feel free to post it and those that have the issue in the future can view it.

However, an alternative to changing the belt size is to use an AC compressor bypass pulley. They are not much money and you just have to put this in place of a locked up compressor. This way you don't have to worry about getting a different belt and routing it any different.

Just another option for any others with this issue.
