When on I get cold air. I have checked your video. The clutch is engaging and the compressor is turning however the clutch stays engaged unless I turn off the A/C. When I turn it back on the A/C engages. I did buy one of those recharge kits and it said I had plenty of Freon as it showed on the green. What else can I check? Thanks.

Hi,

Chances are the blend air door isn't working in the vehicle. The blend door actuator is what moved the door to determine what temp the air is entering the vehicle.

If you look at pic 1 below, I highlighted the actuator I'm referring to. What I suggest is to remove it and while it's still connected to power, see if it moves when you change from heat to cool.

If it doesn't, here is a link that explains in general how one is replaced. Note: This is under the dash on the driver's side of the vehicle.

The remaining pics below are for the removal and replacement specific to your vehicle.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have other questions and what you find.

Take care,

Joe
