A/C not working properly?

I have the truck listed above King Ranch with a screen. I am having a problem with the A/C. At first I was having problems with the fan speed it just kept getting lower fan speeds but was no cold air. I changed out the resistor now I have all the fan speeds but no cold air? The compressor isn't kicking on. I put the old one back on and the compressor kicks on but only have the lowest fan speed. I checked the blower motor works fine. Anyone have any other ideas what could be wrong?

There are two kinds for blower motor speed controls one is a resistor and the other is a controller. here are both in the diagrams below so you can tell me which one you have also did you use an OEM part when replacing the speed control? Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find.
