My air conditioner is blowing hot air. They said the compressor was working. I was also told that I need a blend door actuator. How many do I need if that is the problem? I brought one and I see it behind the radio is that the one I need? The compressor had it checked, they said I need it too, is that true? Thanks it is hot in Texas. I am trying to save money, other than that the car runs good. Thanks :)

Sorry, we have no pictures of location of air mix. You contradict yourself by one person saying compressor other says air mix. Here is how to test if air mix gets power. See image.

Hey Skindoo,

The three actuators are located on the heater plenum. Here is a guide on checking if the compressor is working or not:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/car-air-conditioner-not-working-or-is-weak

if it is a compressor that needs sot be replaced look at this to see what you are in for

Here is a picture of the blend door locations.

Let us know what you find.

Best, Ken
