ABS & traction control light stay on

Digital readout on dash says "service traction" - is this a dealer issue or an indication of a malfunction - vehicle works fine - no trouble codes - disconnection of battery does not extinguish readout - ther is no switch for traction control on dash as the manual would have you believe

You need to take it to a repair shop to get the light off as well as serviced. Anytime the abs unit sends a code the traction control is shutoff so you need a pro to scan it to see what is wrong.
