After replacing the ABS Speed sensors, Speed Comparative Performance message appeared?

The ABS speed sensor code points to the passenger sensor. I replaced the sensor now I am getting new error Speed Comparative Performance for that sensor I just replaced. My gut is telling me I got a bad new sensor from the auto store. To trouble shoot I swapped the driver and passenger sensors, and the Speed Comparative Performance follows the sensor now to driver's side. I believe I have a faulty new sensor since the error followed it. My question when you replace a speed sensor should you replace both or just a faulty one?

You can just do the one, and you are right if the problem follows the sensor the sensor is defective. Here are the instructions on how to change the sensor out correctly. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
