There could be a number of causes for this. I attached the testing that we need to run through in order to find the cause. Let me know what questions you have and we can go from there. Thanks

Hello, I'm Danny.

I've attached picture diagnostic repair steps for you below. You didn't specify if it's 4 wheel rear anti-lock brakes but that is what I based it on. Let us know what you find and get back to us. Hope this this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Hi Danny Ronny here. A BlueDriver plugged into my dash on a E450 Super Duty 2000 Ford v10 motor home gave me code c 1230 wheel speed sensor rear center input circuit failure. ABS brake light stays on. I’m trying to find out how to replace this sensor?

Hello again.

Okay, just to be on the same page his is not an E or F - 450 but a motor home with the Code C1230? Also do you know if its rear wheel ABS or 4 wheel ABS? Let us know and we'll go from there. Thanks again for using 2CarPros.

Replace the rear speed sensor. They are relatively cheap and go out pretty often. This is where I start if it were my vehicle and the sensor has never been replaced.

Yes! Thanks to all involved! Now I just need to see where it is? I’ve looked for it but it doesn’t seem to be visible! Not taken wheels off to inspect inside hub yet. Trying to find a repair manual on a e450 super duty v10 engine so I’ll be ready for repairers in the future? R

It's mounted above the center of the axle housing. Held on with a 10mm bolt, once the bolt is out use a flat tip screw driver or a small pry bar and gently wiggle it up and out.
