My right rear brake does not release all the way. I have changed the pads and the caliper. When I first use the truck in the morning, it's okay until I brake a couple of times. Then it starts to drag, but it doesn't lock up completely. When I get to work, a ten-minute drive on side streets, the right rear wheel is too hot to touch. I think the problem is the ABS control module, but I don't know how to verify it.

I don't think it is the ABS controller, I would change out the brake flex hose which can fall apart internally and block the fluid from returning, also check the caliper slides as well.

Here is a guide that can help:

Here is how to change out the brake hose. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.

Hi,
Here's an update on the brake issue: I haven't done anything yet, but the right rear brake has been fine, with no dragging or overheating. The left rear brake seems to be dragging a bit now, and the rim is hot when I get home from work. I'm not sure what to make of this change. Could it be the ABS control module?

This will not be the ABS control module, it can still be the brake master cylinder.
