Just bought a 2002 dodge ram 1500 5.9L, 2wd, automatic, 4 dr, 6ftbed. Abs and brake light lit on dash when I purchased the truck, figured it wasn’t going to be this tough on getting the info I need. So the and and brake light on, nothing feels out of the ordinary with brakes that I notice cause truck is new to me. I scanned the computer with my three code scanners and I have no codes. Took to auto store and used their scanner and no codes. I started cleaning up the connections at fluid resivior, connection on and module and the abs connection in rear on top of pumpkin, I then noticed a sensor on left front wheel and none on the right. So all is good so far except the front wheel sensor is folded up and wire tied and hangs there, so from what I’m thinking is if it’s 2wheel abs, is it the erong bearing hub on the truck or is the incorrect and module on the truck? I looked for six days for where the speed sensor goes, there is nothing hanging, nothing cut off in the harness anywhere, what I seen on line there should be the connector for it attached and behind the wheel well. It’s not there. Took the well out to see if it went something I can’t see. , There is nothing to attach the speed sensor to. My abs module is a 2wheel wheel abs module so there two brake lines and one connecter from harness in it. At the auto store there was that module and a. ; Wheel and module, the four wheel and had two connectors on it. One for harness I’m guessing and one for the speed sensor I imagine. So is my truck. 2 or 4 wheel abs? I got three wheels covered.. Not sure what I got, to find out if sensor wire goes somewhere or take the hub assembly off and look for the cause of lights somewhere else. Also the parking brake had a electrical connector on it down under dash, there is no connector that I can find that plugs into it down there. There is a remote start and alarm wired in I believe. Is that where any of my missing wires could have gone, I’ll takes pics tomorrow if needed. Let me know your thoughts on this. , Thankyou

Hello, this question was posted a few months ago, has the issue been resolved since then or are you still dealing with a Brake warning lamp on?
