Hello 2CarPros,
I have seen your video on how to replace ABS module. After the replacement, do the brakes need bleeding? Even though I’m not doing any replacement on the pump by losing any brake fluid. Please advice.

Thanks,
Mo

Good morning,

If you have not removed the hydraulic unit, no, there is no bleeding needed. Only after you open a brake line will it require the automated bleeding procedure.

Thanks Roy! You are a blessing. All I’m doing is swapping from old trouble module to new. Is there any programming to do after the installation? Or that’s all to this job?
Thanks,
Mo

You are welcome.

Yes, the module needs to be flashed. An advanced scan tool at a shop or the dealer are the options for the programming.

Thanks a million and my questions are well answered. Will have the shop scan it by saving a little in my pocket.
