ABS Module needs replacing can I use second one? If so, how do I check if correct? Do they have specific serial numbers for each year produced?

If you mean the EBCM that attaches to the hydraulic section, it is replaceable without a lot of work. Remove the electrical connector, then the 4 screws that hold it to the HCM. Remove the O rings. Reverse the process to install the replacement. Then use a service programming tool to program the EBCM to match your vehicle.
