Does the ABS module have to be reprogrammed after replacement?

Hello, the ABS module will need to be initialized with a capable scan tool. It's more of a procedure that is best done in a large open parking lot. The vehicle will need to be turned and coasted, following the scan tool instructions. Even bleeding the ABS hydraulic section of the module, a scan tool is needed to open the solenoids inside the module. You could have a mobile technician come out to do the programming. That's an option, the Autel Maxicheck Pro is a smaller scan tool that can do all the ABS programming and bleeding. You can check that out as an option as well.
