Yesterday I had a front wheel bearing replaced on my 2008 Nissan Sentra and now the ABS light is on. The mechanic wants me to pay to have a new sensor installed, saying something like the problem is that the gap sizes are different on the new bearing so the sensor is reading that there is a problem. Is this reasonable? Or did they do something wrong - damage the sensor during installation, wrong type of bearing installed, or something like that?
