ABS light on following repair of squeaky brake. Garage diagnosed a faulty sensor on back left side. New sensor bought and fitted but ABS sensor light still on. Is it possible for me to reset the error code myself or do I need to return the car to garage for them to reset error code on sensor?

The ABS system is a continuous test system, If the bad sensor was replaced but the light is still on after driving the vehicle more than a few feet there is still a problem with the system. It's possible that the issue is a bad connection or broken wire and not really a "bad" sensor. That is very common. The connectors corrode or the wires break because of how they flex when the suspension moves.
