ABS light flashing on and off

Yes the axle bearing can cause the ABS light to flicker as the sensor cannot follow the wheel speed. Here is a guide to tell let you see what you are in for when doing the job.

I went to get the brake light, abs light read for codes today. Pep boys shop stated they could not read chrysler codes on ABS. Take to the dealer, however they did read my check engine light and these are the codes that they found. PO 218,740,700,132,420,456! I am in shock. What does this mean? Are these all different problems? Help!! Thanks, The car is driving a little rough these days, gas mileage 17mpg versas 18.3. That fan is going in the front of the car non stop trying to cool something down, sounds loud.

the code readers sometimes do not read anything but engine codes. the fact that you have all these codes indicates a couple of issue. you need to start by getting a real diag with pin point failures and get a bid.

in most cases of multiple codes. one code could cause others. get a real diag and then we can talk more.

If you could take it some where to get the abs code's read and let me know what the exact code number's are i can help you further.Without the code number's we don't have a starting point.

abslight stays on when car is in use and sometime brakes pedal goes all the way to the floor

Seems you need some brake attention. Your master cylinder is probably the culpruit. The whole system needs to be looked at having no brakes can be a life altering experience. If you live in FL and choose not to repair let me know so I can stay off the road.

Three weeks ago I bought a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica. I've noticed that the ABS light comes on and stays on. I carried it to the dealer I purchased the vehicle from and they said the computer was not bringing up a code. I also have added 2 quarts of oil to the car since I bought it.

In both situations, they said they couldn't find a problem. I do know that I haven't noticed any spots on my driveway but why would it use that much oil?

Why do I feel like I'm getting the run around (especially since my 30 day warranty with the dealer expires on 11/05/07). Do you have any ideas about the oil leak and about the ABS light?

Make sure that when you take it in to the dealership that you have in detail what is said to be wrong with your Pacifica that way if something does happen you can take them to court.

Recently my ABS and Traction Control light started stay on. The brakes seem to work fine, sometimes a little soft. Any suggestions?

Hi:
The traction control is worked by the abs. Have the computer scanned for codes and most likely it will be a bad sensor at one of the wheels.

I just recently had the same problem and found that my ABS sensor was bad. I had it replaced and now it is fine.
