I recently got the ABS light on my dashboard however, when i turned the car off and back on the light went off for around ten minutes before turning back on. When i got home the car was off for around ninety minutes before turning it back on to drive to a destination. The journey was around twelve miles and the ABS light did not turn on until the end of the journey. Any advice?

That is because the light resets when the ignition is turned off. It comes back on because the failure that caused it in the first place has occurred again.
What you need to do is have the ABS module scanned to retrieve the stored code and that will give you a starting point to repair the problem.
