what could be wrong with my ignition?

i have to turn my ignition onto accessory and wait until the airbag light stops flashing before my car will turn on. if i don't wait for the lights to stop flashing, my car will make the initial start up noises, but the engine wont start.

Go to Autozone and have it scanned for code/s its free service for the public
