My ABS light stays on and 4x4 high flickers on and off. When I first start out driving the brake pedal seems to push to the floor and it feels like the brakes are grinding. But then after about a mile the brakes work fine but light stays on. Please help, Tia.

Hello,

It sounds like you have a wheel bearing or ABS wheel speed sensor that has gone out but to confirm the problem let's run a test, this is an easy one and it only take a voltmeter. Here are a few guides to help you get the job done:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-use-a-voltmeter

and

And if bad here is a guide to give you an idea on how to change it:

I would check the brake pads as well.

Please run some tests and get back to us we are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken
