I have replaced pretty much everything on the entire braking system. Still the ABS light is on. Brake pedal gets hard from time to time. I am just recently replaced the EBCM, same issue. Tried to manually pull the ABS codes. Jumped four and twelve, but the ABS light does not flash, just the air bag light.

Has the system been bled with a scanner? Probably air in system at ABS quite typical. You will need a pro scanner to do it.

It has been bled multiple times, even bled from other shops. Scanned by multiple shops. Cannot pull any codes.

If the light says "brake" then it may be the parking brake is partially applied if it is ABS then if it is not showing a code I would have to go with a wire pinched some place a can/bus problem or a ground bad.

It is the ABS light and again I tried to manually pull the ABS codes by jumping number four and twelve on the OBD port. The ABS light is supposed to flash a sequence, but instead the air bag light comes on. The ABS was malfunctioning so replaced the EBCM, same problem. Every component of the braking system is new. Before when on the freeway if the brakes were applied the pedal would get hard had to jam on the brakes to get it to slow down. The ABS light comes on. Before that it worked fine, but it has doing it intermittently.

When you say this has been bled, have you used a scanner to command all the valves open and bled the system like that? The connections at ALDL are twelve and two not four. Also, if parking brake is on or something with the switch it will light up ABS light. Try disconnection parking brake switch see if light goes out. This system grounds on right side of engine compartment. I am sending a few things in picture for you to check it includes checking wiring at ABS unit. This is the same system for one of the Honda's but it is wired a little different.

Hello,

It seems like we are missing something here, I would do some testing of the power and grounds for the system.

Here is a guide and some wiring diagrams (below) so you can get started.

Please run some tests and get back to us so we can continue helping you.

Cheers, Ken
