ABS issue

I had ABS and VTM-4 light on and getting codes
ABS 11
VTM-4 22
after replacing the wheel speed sensor
lights are off.
But when I jump OBD pins 4 and 9 I still get VTM-4 code 22.

Hi Gehad,

If your VTM 4 indicator light is not on and the AWD system is working, then it appears you fixed the vehicle.

When you are jumping these pins and still getting this code, that is what we call a STORED code and is no longer active because the indicator light is not on.

You will need to follow the process attached to clear out the DTC. The module will keep it stored so that in the event the issue is intermittent we want the module to tell us what was wrong so we can try to repair it or at least put us on the right path.

If you do not have the tool to perform this procedure, I would just let it go because it will not hurt anything. Plus, it will more than likely clear out after it sees a certain number of key cycles with no issue.

I was worry if the system is still deactivate.
I don't have tools, I will ask someone to erase that codes from the ECU.
