ABS and brake light on

2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER

After changing wheel speed sensor and brake pads still getting ABS light. When I come to a stop brake peddle scrubs but if I unhook sensor scrub stops and brake light stays on saying service brakes soon.

The fact you disconnected the sensor disabled the system so, yes, the issue stopped happening.

Verify the fluid level is correct in the master cylinder as well.
