about dies and gauges go wild

about dies at times real bad . had put on machine and shoes p1189 engin oil pressure circuit andp1811 maximum adapt and long shift . they don't know where it's coming from. any ideas when it does this the gauge hands go wild

The 1811 is most likely a bad line pressure control solenoid.on the oil pressure gauge your going to have to hook up a oil pressure gauge up and see what the gauge is reading?you could just have a bad oil sending unit its common for them to go bad?
