A4LD transmission

Rebuilt transmission and it works great in all gears, shifts very smoothly. But in here lies the problem, when in drive it does as mentioned above, but when put in OD the transmission will not pull the vehicle. I have cleaned the governor and there was no change. I also replaced the modulator as it was not shifting smoothly and that fixed that problem. I am baffled as to why I have no response when in the OD position.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Could it be the OD sprag failing?

Hello,

I think you hit it on the money if the OD sprag is failing (burnt up) it will allow the OD gear to freewheel.
