Trying to remove the A pillar trim but can't figure out how to remove the grab handle bolt/nut. All sockets both sae and metric have been tried with no success. Would you know what size this is or if it comes off a different way? Thanks either way.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Can you take a close up picture with your cell phone and upload it here? If a standard sae or metric doesn't fit that's kind of bizarre. Ford did make a 5.5 millimeter (socket) bolt or possibly it could be an E-series (Torx) bolt. Let me know and we'll go from there. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Hope you can make this out, nothing like I've ever seen. It appears there is a hex nut at the very end can make out with magnifying glass and flash light but not 100% sure as my eyes start to cross looking at it.

Figured it out! It takes a thin wall 8mm socket, all of mine were just to thick to get around it. Went to Harbor Freight and bought their top of the line Icon 1/4" thin walled sockets and came right out. Thank you for looking into this for me. The forums on this subject have it all wrong.
