How to program a new key?

So, I have the car listed above and my ex decided to break and throw my only key I had. so, I got a dealer cut one and I’m not sure how to reprogram it myself. he had also cut the exhaust off and I’m not sure if that’ll put it into auto theft deterrent mode but that’s also on.

Hi,

As far as the key is concerned, the dealer should have programmed the vehicle to recognize the new key. If you don't have an original, a bi-directional scan tool is needed.

As far as the exhaust, that won't set the anti-theft.
